Finally unpacked my books today after hauling them all up from Georgia... Should keep me busy for a while!
I also realized after looking at the Our Authors, Their Books section of the forum that I have a book by a member here. So now I am really looking forward to reading Promises, Promises by L-J Baker. I had actually ordered Lady Knight from the store, but their supplier was out of stock.
I have read most of them. I just need to finish the 10 or so I haven't read, then I can re-read and review.

Cool, Bioh!

And if you hate a book, it's perfectly okay to say so. None of the authors on this forum are primadonnas, and all our forum members welcome honest discussion about books. We often disagree, but we do so without acrimony.

What Fran said.

Also, have you considered ebooks, yet? If nothing else, hauling them around the USA would be a lot easier. ;)

Call me old fashioned, but there is just something about a paper book. I love how they feel and smell. They are definitely more of a pain to haul around, but I just love them.

Fair enough. :-) We have some converts to e-format who are totally sold on the idea, but also some who relish the tacticle pleasures of reading. Those two aren't mutually exclusive.

I don't even have an e-reader.

Me either, Elaine. My folks have Amazon Kindle Fires that they love. I just don't have the money to buy one right now. They are neat, though.
I wish you could buy a book, and it came with a little thing to scan so you got the e-book as well. Then I could have the hard copy on a shelf, as well as the digital copy, without spending almost twice as much.

My Precious has a Nook Tablet I got her for her birthday. She loves it more than I thought she would. She likes the instant gratification of it. She sees a book she would like to read and she can read it just a few minutes later, rather than wait until we can either get to the store or the book comes in the mail.
Take a deep breath and count to zen.
