Hi Hannah. Welcome and it's great to have you on board :)

Feel free to say hello to us in this thread and introduce yourself, if you want to of course. Generally we're quite well behaved in a welcome thread ;).

Cool, another person from the UK (and a nurse :-) ).

Is there any particular genre you like to read, whether lesfic or non lesfic?

Yes, Nurse Jo really is a nurse (although she is not blonde, does not wear an eye patch, nor does she wield a mean syringe).

Hmm, I can wield a mean syringe if need be.

Thank you for the welcome guys.

Nice to see a fellow nurse, though I'm yet to have my training wheels off as a mere student..... :)

I like reading a range of genres. I did Literature, before i went back to uni to be a nurse, which gave me a chance to discover all sorts~ but Im not one of those literary types who have like a hierarchy of what makes good and bad literature, far from it. I'll give anything a go, literarily speaking.

I'm new to the Lesfic genre as a distinct genre but I'm a fan of Toni Morrison, Virginia Woolf (i find a bottle of wine helps to get into the wavelength), Jean Rhys God loads and loads..... oh and of course Charlotte Perkins Gilman...... not sure of any specific genres but looking forward to reading your authors work and following up suggestions!

Gets me away from all the exams and scary syringes etc .......
