I thought I could live with that little blot of extended pixels. My intentions was to wait until we got past the wedding bills to get a new monitor. But all of a sudden, that little blot is now a red line top to bottom of my screen at almost the midpoint. And every day, each of the other little lines is growing to match that full length line. It's gone from an interesting aberration to a PITA annoyance. I'm going to have to get another monitor soon.
Any recommendations or warnings?

I don't know a lot about monitors, I'm afraid. I suspect there are a lot of good brands out there. My suggestion would be to have a hunt around for some models in the price/size range you want, then check online reviews of them.

Samsung is my suggestion. LG is also good but some of them have bad contrast.

I'm leaning towards the Samsung. Just looking for the best price I can get.

Hmm. Geeky sex toys. Might be best as a graphic novel.
