That makes me feel a little better. :-)

I do like Gentileschi's Judith paintings. I read an article where they compared them to some male artist's treatment of the same subject. Very illuminating. Gentileschi didn't shy from showing that women are equally capable of a spot of savagery.

Thanks for that link. Yeah, the Hugh Heffner bunny penis story is funny. I also enjoyed the fact that Judith Leyster's painting was prominently displayed in the Louvre because it was attributed to Hals.
