First song I heard by KD was "Constant Craving." Been lucky enough to see her in concert. She's a wonderful performer.

She puts on a high energy show...It's just her for a good hour and a half with very little talk and a lot of great music.

Oh, I had no idea. I most confess that there is some jazz I can't stand also. But I like a lot classic vocal jazz like the songs by Ella Fitzgerald and Carmen McRae I used on those posts above. Or music such as this:

A really lovely song by a Japanese artist. One of my teachers/co-workers sang it at karaoke, and I just fell in love with it. The title translates to, "A Letter To My Fifteen-Year-Old Self".

:-) I read a biography of her not that long ago. Apparently she was considered more talented than bro Felix, but she was a woman so there was no point in teaching and encouraging her...
