Book Giveaway at Women and Words

Postby Biohazard » 14 Dec 2012, 05:42

Figured you all might have already seen this, but the blog Women and Words is doing a HUGE 12 day book giveaway! I'm likely reducing my chance of winning, but I am all about sharing the chance to get a free read. A bunch of authors and a publisher donated a pile of books.
I didn't see anyone talking about this around here, so I am hoping I am not just reposting something you all know about. :)

Thanks for posting. I did know about it, but yeah, not everyone might.

Thanks, I didn't know! For some reason my computer often refuses to load that webpage, so I don't visit the site often.

I think they've done a giveaway each year. It's a great tradition!

I knew about it, because two of my books are on the list, but I forget which days. Must check. (Girl Fever and Heiresses of Russ 2012.)

Didn't get lucky, but I might have to add "Girl Fever" to my must-buy list. I am a sucker for lesbian erotica!

This is the day! An all-science-fiction-and-fantasy day at the Hootenanny! My alter-ego's anthology Heiresses of Russ 2012 has the best lesbian speculative fiction you didn't have time to ferret out last year from all the magazines, anthologies, and websites where it appeared. Work by many terrific writers, including Nalo Hopkinson, Amal El-Mohtar, Desirina Boskovich, Lindy Cameron, and many others.

(I don't mind shipping the book overseas. Over many, many seas.)
