#9 Breaking the Ice - Kim Baldwin

4stars : Good for one read through.

Alaska Bush Pilot, Bryson Faulkner, like her father before her, lives life on the edge of the wilderness in
the Alaskan skies and land, the one thing missing for her is a woman to share her love of the Alaskan
wilds.

ER Nurse, Karla Edwards, living in Atlanta has a series of events happen to alter her world, her partner
leaves her, her mother dies and she discovers she may have a sister in Alaska, Karla throws caution to
the wind and goes hunting for her sister.

This is an adventure-romance novel, well written, I enjoyed the discriptions of the Alaskan wilderness and encounters
easy to invision, Baldwin brings the two women who are opposites together through adventure and miss-adventure, believable.

#10 Finding Home - Georgia Beers

4stars : Good for one read through.

Sarah Buchanan's long time girlfriend left her for a man, calling Sarah a control freak, with her world crumbled
around her, Sarah decides to change her ridged and boring life and part of that change is taking a temporary postion
in her company, in New Zeland, but she has to leave her beloved dog, Bentley, with her parents, while her parents
are on a week long cruise, Bentley gets loose and is lost.

Enter Natalie Fox, flighty and spontaneous, complete opposite of Sarah. Natalie finds Bentley (now called Chino) and
makes an effort to locate his owner, after no one claims Chino she adopts him.

This story brings the two women together via Bentley/Chino, once Sarah returns to find him missing and discovers an old
poster about her missing dog, there is humor and heart tugging moments in this cute romance story

#11 The Midnight Hunt - L.L. Rand

4+stars : Slighty better then good, might read again.

Werewolves, Vampires, Fairies, Mages, and Psi(?) Oh my!

Radclyffe, under the pseudonym L.L. Rand, tells about the dark side of the paranormal world in the first of
the Midnight Hunter series.

This story is about the life of two protagonists Sylvan Mir, Alpha of the Adirondack Timberwolf Pack and Medic Drake McKennan.

Medic Drake McKennan is bitten while treating a teenage were in the throws of "were fever", it brings about her change into a werewolf and becomes mate to Sylvan, the story tells of the political and social struggles of the weres within their own world and
the outside world as Sylvan is the head of the Praetern Coalition, a councl of the five paranormal socities.

Toss in mystery and eroticism in Radclyffe style and you have a good read, I might re-read this depending on how long it takes for the next in the series to come out, I might forget :duh:
