Wonky Column Headings

Postby Lt Sue » 26 Apr 2011, 03:24

Has anyone else noted that the column headings are out of sync in "Unread Posts"? :dunno:

I've never viewed them until just now. As far as I can see, everything lines up but I've nothing to compare it to.

When you see it again, take a screenshot please?

I use View Unread Posts all the time and haven't noticed a problem--is that what you mean? Could it be the style you've set? I use subsilver2.

You take a screen shot by Crtl, PrtScn (depending on your keyboard, I suppose). You can then paste that into a Word doc (or other program, I suppose), but from there I don't know how you'd upload it here.

For future reference, here's how to take a screenshot:

Most computers, you only need to hit the Prnt Scr (Print Screen) button, usually located in the upper right section of the keyboard.

This will put a copy of the screen into your "clipboard" just like when you ctrl C something in a text document.

Open Paint or any other graphics program (such as Irfanview). Use the paste option under edit or just hit ctrl V. The screen image should then be pasted into the program.

Save the image and do whatever.

Okay, I see it now. The image Sue sent me was no different that what I saw so I took another look. The column titles are shifted over to the right by one which explains the wide empty column under Last Post. How very strange. It has somehow decided that Author is in the same column as Topics.......

I tried to make the image smaller but then you'd not notice it, which I didn't in Sue's version.
