Isn't there a law that says you are required to post snippets at least once every three days?

Those snooty writer types at the kick off event were raving about the novel writing software that they use, so I downloaded StoryBox and StoryBook. I can't figure out how to make them work for me. :dunno: I thought it might be helpful since I often feel the urge to do full character sketches when I should be working on plot stuff. For now I'll be sticking to Open Office and my trusty pencil/pad combo.

November is not a good time to try out a new novel software.

Storybox and Storybook are, basically, outlines on steroids. Kinda useful if you already lean in that direction (outlines, not steroids) There's a bunch out there doing roughly the same thing.

OpenOffice for me.
Take a deep breath and count to zen.

Didn't bother with any of those programs. I'm with grewgirl and the pencil/pad combo. I at least think I know how to use those. :)

Take a deep breath. Now write the next scene, the one that's the result of what you want to have happen. I do that and it sometimes helps to clarify the previous scene. You can do this.

Just keep writing! Pick something for your character to do. write about it. Just keep writing!
