Lol, is it like feeding your mogwai after midnight?

Okay, so I'm crawling back 4 months later with my head hung down low..

Epic fail.

But you knew that already, dintya? :) The story is still banging around in my head, however. Kind of like bats in a belfry.
I need someone to kick me in the ass to get me started again.

What I have learned is that no one can make you write. Oh, sure, they can say some inspiring things or poke you in just the right way, but, really, it comes down to each individual writer finding their own individual motivation.

But, still, consider your ass kicked.
Take a deep breath and count to zen.

Probably only your characters can kick you effectively. If they ain't talking, ain't much you can do. But, yeah, consider yourself kicked!

What Paula and Elaine said, most importantly, I hope you're taking notes when it bangs around inside your head, some good stuff is often lost if you don't remember it. ;-)

OUCH!
You guys are awesome--kicking me and all. :)
Yes, Deej, that's so true about taking notes otherwise forgetting things. I have little slips of paper with scribbles all over them. It's funny how we can think of something so incredibly awesome and just know we won't forget it because it's so freakin' awesome. And then it gets forgot.
