Then I shall, my friends, then I shall.

And when I fail, I shall come after you and beat you with your own funny bone.

P think about BGCFA, you had some wonderfully funny moments in it even if you weren't trying too. Make one of them either sarcastic or a person who turns to laughter when all else fails. We all know that person. Harry would be perfect like that.

Harri has a dry sense of humor. Not sure about Liz. Sometimes I think she's lost her humor.

I'm working this out in my head. I'll start putting it to screen tomorrow. Precious has to work so it'll give me something to do.

Hey, what is the generic term for Pop Tarts? You know, like copier instead of xerox machine.

Only 1320 words but the beginning is tough.

Paula, that's 1300 more words than you had. Each word brings you closer to your goal, so be happy and keep it up. :-)

A: Yes, toaster pastries.
B: Yes, humour.

This:
"Take God back?" Rhonda couldn't believe she had said that out loud. She hadn't meant to.

makes the point exactly. Rhonda was not trying to be funny. She had no intention of being funny. No one else in the room thinks Rhonda is funny.

That is what makes it funny!

Characters who make jokes to each other and smirk at each other, admiring each other's wittiness, are bloody annoying. Characters who say what they sincerely believe, and whose beliefs are not in synch with those of the reader, can be very funny indeed.

Toaster pastry! That's what I was looking for. My brain, it locked.
